Danor Quinteros in Concert

The Anglo Chilean Society has pleasure in inviting you to a concert in memory of Michael Roberts, "Danor Quinteros In Concert"

Michael Roberts was a Life Member of the Society and, for over ten years, its Secretary. In 2013 he was awarded the Bernardo O'Higgins medal.

Danor Quinteros is a graduate of the Universidad Católica de Chile who has won many prestigious piano prizes in Europe. He has graduated from the Zurich School of Arts and the Hochschule für Musik Köln. He is now based in Vienna and most recently was awarded 3rd Prize in the Enescu Competition in Bucharest. We are also delighted to announce that Danor will give the World premiere performances of two pieces by Chilean composer Marcos Stuardo.

Marcos Stuardo obtained his 'Licenciatura en Composición' (Bachelor in Composition) with the Highest Distinction at Universidad de Chile and Master in Music at King's College. He is now studying for his PhD at King's. The Recital will include music by Clementi, Enescu, Rachmaninoff, Ravel & Stuardo.

The concert will take place In King’s College Chapel. The Society is grateful to the College for kind permission to use this beautiful hidden gem in Central London.

Join us for a pre-concert wine reception from 6.45pm

Entrance is free but should be booked online by emailing info@anglochileansociety.org or by writing to The Secretary, Anglo Chilean Society, 37-41 Old Queen Street, London, SW1H 9JA

Support for this concert comes from a kind donation made by Michael Roberts’ family and the Alan Macdonald Endowment.

There will be a retiring collection in aid of the Society’s charitable work.
