One of the two principal objectives of The Anglo Chilean Society is to help worthy causes in Chile.
We received a request for help from the Red Cross in La Calera, a town 70 miles north of capital Santiago. They needed financial assistance to help older adults on outings. The Anglo Chilean Society attended their request to purchase wheelchairs, belts, walking aids and other equipment to facilitate their trips to the countryside.
The funding provided by the ACS will benefit more than 60 residents and now they will be able to enjoy a better quality of life.
