About the Event
We would like to invite you to the seminar “Education and training policies for social inclusion and sustainable development in Chile and Latin America” on the 28th of September at the University of Glasgow, Scotland. This seminar is organised by Chile Global Seminars UK and the Robert Owen Centre for Educational Change, University of Glasgow.
In this seminar we will discuss the current state and challenges for education and training policies in Chile and Latin America from a local, national and international perspective. We welcome contributions from all disciplines, focusing on (but not restricted to) the following topics:
- education policy
- school choice
- vocational education and skills
- higher education research
- transitions from education to work
We welcome contributions from researchers studying these topics in Chile and Latin America.

Deadline for applications: 28th of August
A limited number of travel bursaries for presenters coming from other cities within the United Kingdom or Europe will be available. To apply for a travel bursary, please complete the relevant section in the registration form. The maximum reimbursement will be 40 GBP per presenter.
