On Wednesday, 18th January 2017 at King’s College Chapel, The Anglo Chilean Society held a concert in memory of Michael Roberts, "Danor Quinteros In Concert"
Michael Roberts was a Life Member of the Society and, for over ten years, its Secretary. In 2013 he was awarded the Bernardo O'Higgins medal.
Danor is a graduate of the Universidad Católica de Chile who has won many prestigious piano prizes in Europe. He has graduated from the Zurich School of Arts and the Hochschule für Musik Köln. He is now based in Salzburg and most recently was awarded 3rd Prize in the Enescu Competition in Bucharest. Danor also played the World premiere performances of two pieces by Chilean composer Marcos Stuardo.
Marcos Stuardo obtained his 'Licenciatura en Composición' (Bachelor in Composition) with the Highest Distinction at Universidad de Chile and Master in Music at King's College. He is now studying for his PhD at King's.

We would like to thanks to all those who helped to make the night such a success. It was a very fitting way to remember Michael and his dedication to the society. It was a fantastic concert in a wonderful venue!
