The Anglo Chilean Society is delighted to award a grant from the Alan Macdonald Fund to Better Cycling, an inspiring community initiative led by Chilean artists Tere Chad and Otto Schade. This project embodies the spirit of the Fund by promoting Chilean creativity while delivering meaningful social impact in the UK.
Through a series of workshops for young people in Hammersmith and Fulham, Better Cycling will combine street art, community engagement, and safer cycling education to encourage sustainable mobility and enhance wellbeing. The resulting mural for OMA Bikes will not only showcase the talent of two outstanding Chilean artists but will also create a lasting public artwork that celebrates responsible cycling and strengthens local identity.
We are proud to support a project that brings together culture, sustainability, and community participation, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact it will generate for local families and for the visibility of Chilean art in the UK.
