On March 14th, the Society held a collaborative virtual event with Canning House entitled Climate Change: Opportunities and Challenges between the UK and Chile.
There was an excellent attendance to hear the views of three expert panellists: Sebastian Vicuña, Director of the Center of Global Change at Universidad Catolica; Louise de Sousa, HM Ambassador in Chile and Fiona Clouder, Ambassador for Latin America for COP 26. There was an excellent discussion and it was a great opportunity to learn more about Chile's new government's plans and effect of the the new constitution on the climate change agenda. The Society is very grateful to all the speakers and Canning House for managing the event behind the scenes.
