Fundación Educacional Choshuenco

The Anglo Chilean Society (ACS) has provided funding to Fundación Educacional Choshuenco to purchase books for the library at Jardín San Rafael in La Pintana. This initiative will benefit 180 children between the ages of 0 and 4, as well as their families, who face high levels of vulnerability due to poverty, violence, and exposure to alcohol and drugs.

Fundación Educacional Choshuenco is dedicated to providing access to early childhood education for children living in underserved communities where quality education is often out of reach. The foundation believes that high-quality early education is essential for a child’s development and that the active involvement of families—as children’s first educators—is crucial. They also advocate for strong public policies that help equip children and their families with the skills, resources, and opportunities needed to pursue their dreams and aspirations.

To date, the foundation has established four kindergartens:

·       Jardín Ángel de la Guarda, Colina

·       Jardín Ángel Gabriel, San Bernardo

·       Jardín Ángel de la Guarda, San Ramón

·       Jardín San Rafael, La Pintana
