Congratulations to the Chilean Pavilion team from the Anglo Chilean Society, one proud sponsor!
At the ceremony for the third edition of London Design Biennale at Somerset House, Chile, Venezuela, Pavilion of the African Diaspora and Israel were awarded this year’s London Design Biennale Medals, and Germany received a special commendation.
The winners of the London Design Biennale 2021 Medals clearly demonstrate how brilliant design can be in telling complex stories that communicate directly to hearts and minds. This year we find more than ever that the issues people really care about - visitors and exhibitors - are shared ones, giving added force and opportunity to show how design really can make a difference.
In a sense all exhibitors deserve a medal for having overcome so many challenges to be here with us in London - we and all our visitors, who have been so delighted to be out and about and seeing interesting things - feel so happy that they made that effort.
