Once again, the Anglo Chilean Society is proud to support the Chilean Pavilion at the London Design Biennale 2025 by contributing part of the funding.
This year’s pavilion, titled Minerasophia: Underground Cycles, was selected by the curatorial team in London and Chile’s Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Heritage. The Biennale opens on June 5th under the theme Surface Reflections.
The Chilean Pavilion is the result of long-term research exploring the wisdom of minerals. It highlights their unique cultural, natural, and symbolic value in Chile, celebrating them as carriers of heritage. The project brings Chilean design to the international stage while addressing critical issues around sustainability and material culture through an interdisciplinary lens—combining mining, science, and design.
The pavilion is being developed by Chilean designers Mále Uribe and Constanza Gaggero. Mále is an architect and artist whose work blends art and material design. Constanza is a designer and member of the prestigious Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI), leading creative teams across Europe and South America.
