Barquito de Papel | Circuito Norte
The Anglo Chilean Society (ACS) has supported Barquito de Papel, a project of Centro Cultural y Social Circuito Norte, with a grant to enhance accessibility, creativity, and participation for adults with intellectual functional diversity in Iquique, Chile. The funding will enable the purchase of a large interactive touchscreen display and mobile stand, providing a powerful new tool for artistic expression, communication, and collaborative learning. The technology will be particularly valuable for non-verbal participants, allowing them to communicate through images, make creative choices, and engage more fully in the artistic process. Supporting 20 artists across the programme, this project promotes greater independence, inclusion, and personal development, while helping to break down barriers and expand access to opportunities for people with disabilities through innovative and accessible technology.
