Fundraising Concert in aid of the victims of the wildfires in the South of Chile.

Updated: May 30, 2023

Anglo Chilean Society (ACS) has supported a talented Chilean opera-trained singer, Katy Prado, and her extraordinary project called Ora Dea. Ora Dea, which means "golden hour" in Latin, creates captivating and soothing immersive music performed in English, Spanish, and Mapudungun, a language spoken by the indigenous Mapuche people of Chile.

The event organised by CofoChilex UK took place at the residence of the Chilean Ambassador Susana Herrera on the 23rd of May 2023, where Katy Prado and her guitarist presented an enchanting concert. The evening was filled with remarkable melodies, captivating vocals, stunning imagery, and an ambience that left the audience spellbound.

The primary objective of this concert was to raise funds for the victims of the wildfires that have ravaged the South of Chile. These wildfires have caused immeasurable loss and devastation to communities, and wildlife. If you would like to contribute in support of those affected by the fires, please make a bank transfer to Elisa Educational Trust, a charity registered by the England & Wales charities commission No.1104648
