Nobeles Australes receives help from ACS

Nobeles Australes is a non-profit organisation located in Punta Arenas, Región de Magallanes y Antártica Chilena. It has more than eight years of experience in training and sponsoring children and youngsters through school-level science and culture projects.

The project financed by the ACS is called the Talleres Newton workshops, the theme of which is renewable energy and clean fuels. The objective is to promote the young students´ understanding of these rapidly evolving technologies, and thereby help the formation of new generations conscious of the need to protect the environment.

The workshops will take place in the Hernando de Magallanes state school, and an interactive learning approach based on teamwork will be adopted. Apart from becoming more aware about environmental protection, the students will develop soft, social and communication skills.
