'Chile by Correspondence' by Gianinna Delpino

The Anglo-Chilean Society was delighted to support Gianinna Delpino, a Chilean visual artist and writer based in London, with a donation towards the publication of her book, Chile by Correspondence. The book brings together 22 illustrated short stories, half inspired by experiences in Chile and half by life in London, offering an intimate perspective on the everyday realities, cultural nuances and connections between the two countries. Through her writing and illustrations, Gianinna aims to go beyond common stereotypes and explore the shared experiences that connect people across cultures, particularly the transformative experience of migration. We are proud to support this project, which reflects our commitment to strengthening cultural understanding and building meaningful connections between Chile and the United Kingdom.
