Grant to Elizabeth Robledo

The Society was very pleased to have made a grant to Elizabeth Robledo to support her coming to the UK on the occasion of the launch of a biography of her father, George, who played for Newcastle United and who still holds the record for goals scored in matches. She will be attending numerous events providing opportunities to draw attention to the activities of the Society, including a reception on the 13th of May at the Chilean Embassy, arranged jointly by the Embassy and the Anglo Chilean Society.
